In the summer of 2009 we recognised that our numbers had declined and we needed help to revitalise the church. We discovered that St Peter’s Baptist Church were interested in helping us.

Back in 1874 the church here at Sansome Walk established Redhill Baptist Church. That church remained a branch of Worcester Baptist church until its independence in 1983. It outgrew the Redhill chapel and in 2007 it moved to the St Peter’s area of the city into new premises and changed its name to St Peter’s Baptist Church.

After prayer and discussion an Interim Leadership Team was set up consisting of five leaders from St Peter’s plus our deacons and moderator. This team has met regularly to seek God’s guidance and to plan for the future.

Over the next few months various people from St Peters will be attending and taking part in services at Sansome Walk. Then in October a special service will be held when some members of St Peters will transfer to Sansome Walk.

This is an exciting development as we wait to see how God will lead us in our future life and mission in Worcester city.

If you are looking for a church in the city now might be just the time to come and take a look at Sansome Walk

Bring and share Lunches

As part of our continuing partnership with St Peters we have planned two "Bring and Share Lunches" to takeplace after the morning services on 25th July and 12th September.
